the most beautiful bicycle in the world?

here is my ~2003 cannondale r5000 frame from charles, got it repainted at the factory, absolutely gorgeous. my name is under clear coat on the top tube, it says emoney on the opposite side.

had a fun demo at cannonsburg ski area the other day, some alcoholic beverages were present, to quote the rep "come on college boy whats wrong with your beer?" um i have a 20,000 pound truck to drive thanks... some of the bear naked racers where there for a race as well, that brings the total to 4. 2 guys 2 girls.

then jason had some chicks who wanted pictures with the truck, sure you can. just let me get in some.

also had some of the Ada bike shop guys riding off of a roof, which was cool. overall a good demo. Ill have to come back some time. and they pointed out the 10 cent deposit on cans in Michigan, word.

Business like?

today i opened a charles schwab account. bought 5 shares of aapl. i really wanted to buy 10 but you know i think ill spread it around. i opened the account with 1500. so ill see what i else i might believe in. better then buying a moto or scooter right? just like the last CD i opened, i had a butt load of money burning a hole in my pocket so i "spent it" but not really because its making money.same with this. its like spending it but hopefully ill make money out of it.... well see.

on a bicycle note went for a good ride in nashville, indiana yesterday Single speed with this guy brian, Jason's friend. awesome ride smooth flowing single track. the kind of shit that makes me feel like im a hippie. "aww man that trail was awesome i was in it" finally got the chainrings off my XTR crankset, and in the process the t30 torx head bolts claimed one t30 fold up wrench set. which i just bought today, good thing i bought 2 sets ill get a replacement tomorrow.

i sent an email to Ted yesterday about trying to get me our newest cranks, ive seen someone on weightweenies had them, and our new rep sample bikes have them on them as well so i think my chances are good.

figured i would start a list of states ive been to for this job before i start to forget. to be on the list i must have stayed overnight in a hotel. well try starting back in january

so i pulled up to my demo yesterday at nebo ridge bicycles in indianapolis. was feeling good about the day, have shaved before leaving. get to the demo, go inside where Tim asks me if i can move the truck "sure no problem" well it turned out to be a problem seems like the starter went out, big diesel started to turn over, then "click" then try it again "click" again and again. so had to figure that out before we decided what to do with the demo. In the end left with 13 bikes at the shop, so it wouldnt be a total loss, and proceded to think i had the day off. wrong, jason called me as soon as my waiter brought out my lunch time margarita, which was delicious. but oh well, still waiting to hear back about the truck. not happy about it at all, 17,260 miles and it dies. sweet.

been busy, scooter stolen, tools stolen, bike stolen. been back home alot during may, but now in the midwest. interesting going to malls around here. bought a wii the other day with zelda, pretty fing bad ass if i do say so myself.
I lost my ipod shuffle, only used it 3 times, good thing i got it for $50. Ordered a festina tour de france edition watch today, figured i should start balling, what better then a nice swiss time piece.

i write this from a small spot of grass, (10x20 feet) my tent barely fit anyway. in montgomery ohio. im headed to indiana tonight to see my buddy darwin, i havent scene him in a long time, should be entertaining. Im itching to get a dog as well, my sister said she and her husband are thinking about breeding their dog again, can you say awesome JR for the truck? i can.

started staying in marriotts again instead of hamptons, hamptons seem to sell out faster, even though they are priced about the same, so marriott for me, make my way up to gold level rewards.

Im trying to fugure out how long i want to do this job, i figure its the kind of thing you can lose track of time and end up on the road for years. so i have to start planning an exit strategy for next year. Id like to become a rep i guess, because i wouldnt want to work in bedgord espcially considering i would likely be single and the women choices are not so nice.

I got myself a new bike, a System six liquigas team replica bike (baller anybody?) and had chip polish the hollowgram crank arms. im trying to upload the pictures now, but it will probably have to wait....

im also thinking about getting either a new scooter (i think a waste) or getting a small older motorcycle totake with me (not as gay) ill try the pictures again later.
